Well, Christmas has come and gone. It was a nice Christmas for the most part. Rich and I went to church on Christmas Eve and then came home to eat the "German Augustine Tradition" of Kluffen and cheeseball. Quite yummy if I do say so myself. Then we opened gifts. I was really surprised this year with my gifts. I got 3 CD's, the 20th edition Trivial Pursuit game, a Buttercream Yankee Candle (YUMM!), an Elliott Sadler car to add to our display case, some perfume and a pair of garnet earrings. What a sweet hubby I have...
Then on Christmas Day, we lounged around watching the "King of Queens" first season DVD that Rich got from his sister.
We finally got cleaned up and headed to the Plaza for supper. Because supposedly some of the places were open on X-Mass for supper. Ummm...nope. So our 30 minute drive there was a bust and we were literally looking for ANYTHING to eat on the way home. We spotted a Denny's that was open so we joyously went inside. We were seated, and then the 3 tables around us were seated. 15 minutes later, the other 3 tables had ordered their drinks and their food and we were still sitting there with our menus. So we left. LOL That is quite un-Denise-and-Rich-like.
So we head home and attempt to find something at home. We end up with a frozen pizza and by the time we are finished with the whole supper fiasco, it's time for Rich to go to bed. So we didn't get to go look at X-Mass lights. *sigh*
But today we head to G.B. to see my fam. YAY!!! I can't wait. Perhaps then it will officially feel like Christmas. I have my fingers crossed for X-Mass, Part Three...
